On 2 February 2021, official reports indicated a total 44,946 Covid deaths nationally.
Deaths in hospitals were given as 41,496, implying that 3,450 deaths occurred out of hospital.
However, when the the provincial figures are broken down, 4 provinces are reporting MORE deaths
IN hospital than their TOTAL number of deaths.
Gauteng reported 8,340 TOTAL deaths and 9,279 HOSPITAL deaths.
That’s 939 deaths not being reported on the Department Of Health daily report.
Those 4 provinces have a TOTAL of 1,753 MORE deaths in their hospitals than what the DOH is
reporting.
